Thinking Materials and VeriTouch to Deliver Revolutionary Wireless Media Player

Thinking Materials AB (http://www.thinkingmaterials.com), the Swedish wearable computing design house, has announced the formation of a joint-venture with New York based VeriTouch Ltd. (http://www.veritouch.com) to produce the world’s first biometrically secured wireless, hand held receiver/player for delivery of digital entertainment including video, music, and online games.

The Personal Media Player™ will feature advanced biometric encryption technology from VeriTouch enabling vaulted security of full length digital motion pictures and digital music files transmitted to the device. The device will also feature a UXGA active matrix color screen and a unique wireless headset that allows remote control of the Player.

Customers will select and download digital entertainment selections on a subscription basis from wireless service providers, using their fingerprint with an onboard sensor to unlock and playback the files in real time. The Personal Media Player features a unique MediaVault™ design that prevents any file from being extracted from the device’s hard disk.

Thinking Materials, a world leader in the design of personal technology including wearable hybrid computing devices and mobile phone handsets, is designing the Personal Media Player as a highly portable digital cinema and music library playback system.
