vr-3(P) Sensor Module Solution Released

VeriTouch Ltd. (U.S.A) announced today the release of its revolutionary Parallel Interface Module for Infineon Technologies FingerTIPŽ solid state Fingerprint Sensor. The vr-3(P) allows for simultaneous communications and power to internal serial devices including ChipCard Readers via an onboard mini-connector. The vr-3(P) is a VeriTouch engineered technology breakthrough developed in partnership with Germany’s IC Chip innovations leader, Infineon Technologies (a spinoff of Siemens AG).

The VeriTouch vr-3(P) is the smallest fingerprint sensor solution available in the world. With a footprint of only 20mm x 43mm, the VeriTouch device allows for our vr-3(P) integrated Biometric Smartcard Terminal to surpass every other manufacturer in terms of functionality, size, and cost. The vr-3(P) is the first advanced solution for network security that can be easily and widely deployed by customers in healthcare, online banking, and Web-based merchants and service providers.
